A police pro­ce­dural based on the true story of the rare phe­nom­e­non of a South Korean ser­ial killer in the 1980s, told with a supris­ing but effec­tive sense humor. Sal­inui chueok is also notable for a pleas­antly lack­adaisi­cal pac­ing that truly takes its time to fully inves­ti­gate char­ac­ter and incident.
